Sonrise Retreats: Making Space to Walk with God

Our Ten-Year Vision at Sonrise is simple, but it’s not small.

It’s a picture of people learning to walk with God each day—through prayer, reflection on Scripture, and growing freedom from the things that hold them back. It’s about lives that are genuinely transformed as faith moves beyond Sundays and into the everyday rhythms of life.

Retreats are one of the ways we make room for that kind of formation. Not as an interruption to real life, but as intentional space that helps us return to it more rooted and more aware.

Here are a few of those moments coming up in 2026.

Youth Winter Retreat

February 20–22 | Camp Wi-Ne-Ma
Hosted by Sonrise Youth

For students, faith often forms through shared experience—belonging, laughter, and time away together.

Three whole days of crazy games, extreme fun, meals with friends, walks on the beach, and plenty of late-night laughter with friends. Students will head to Camp Wi-Ne-Ma for a weekend full of connection, shared experiences, and meaningful moments together.

We’ll meet at Sonrise Church on Friday afternoon and return Sunday afternoon—bringing home memories, friendships, and stories that often mark a meaningful step in a student’s walk with God.

Men’s Retreat – Rise Up!

February 27 – March 1 | Camp Tadmor
Hosted by Sonrise Men

For men, walking with God is often strengthened through shared reflection, honest conversation, and time away from the noise.

Join us for the 2026 Men’s Retreat at Camp Tadmor as we gather to reflect on what it means to become the men God is calling us to be. Our guest speaker, Shawn Hart, brings a thoughtful, shepherding presence—engaging questions of faith with humility, depth, and care.

This retreat is open to men ages 12 and up, and fathers are encouraged to attend with their sons. It’s a weekend designed for meaningful conversations, encouragement, and continued formation in faith.

Women’s Retreat – Leaning into Jesus

April 17–19 | Twin Rocks Friends Camp
Hosted by Sonrise Women

For women, spiritual growth often begins by making space—space to listen, reflect, and lean into what God is already doing.

The 2026 Women’s Retreat invites women to a weekend of worship, encouragement, and connection at Twin Rocks Friends Camp. Guest speaker Judy Glanz will share on the theme Leaning into Jesus, offering thoughtful guidance shaped by years of spiritual direction and ministry leadership.

Together, we’ll spend time in Scripture, prayer, conversation, and rest—creating space for renewal and deeper connection with God and one another.

One Vision, Many Paths

Our Ten-Year Vision isn’t about creating identical experiences—it’s about cultivating a shared direction.

As students, men, and women walk with God in ways that are personal and contextual, retreats become one of the places where that walk is strengthened—through prayer, Scripture, community, and freedom.

Different settings. Different voices.
One shared journey.
