Sonrise offers a half-day S.H.A.P.E. class periodically throughout the year. You are invited to come find out how God made you unique. S: Spiritual Gifts
  • What are you spiritually gifted to do?
  • A spiritual gift is a special ability, given by the Holy Spirit to each believer at their conversion. It is to be used to minister to others, building up the body of Christ.
H: Heartbeat
  • What do you love to do?
  • Your Heart is the center of your motivation, desires, and inclinations. The kinds of interests, issues, people, or roles you have a heart for is a great indicator of what ministry you should be involved in.
A: Abilities
  • What natural abilities and skills do you have?
  • With God at the helm, natural abilities are opportunities for ministry. The key is matching your abilities with the right ministry!
P: Personality
  • Where does your personality best suit you to serve?
  • Are you a powerful lion, a popular otter, a peaceful golden retriever, or a perfect beaver? Are you more energized by interacting with people or accomplishing a task? Are you more organized through unstructured flexibility or structured order?
E: Experiences
  • What life experiences have you had?
  • God never wastes a hurt! Have you ever wondered about how your spiritual journey, your painful experiences, your educational experiences, your work experiences, and your ministry experience can be focused to serve others?
