This month we’re taking a full van of students into the mysterious, stoic, woodlands of Forest Park. Later, we’ll be dropping into the Pearl District for gelato and classy times in downtown Portland. Bring a light pair of sneakers, a backpack, lunch & water bottle, 5 bucks for gelato, and an open heart to hear from God in nature. We’ll meet you in front of the main entrance for an ideal adventure on a perfect Saturday.

Make ‘May’ Matter
Sonrise’s Food Pantry is collecting essential non-food items this month, like: toilet paper, toothbrushes, toothpaste, disposable diapers, dish soap, and liquid laundry soap. Drop donations off during any weekend service at Sonrise Hillsboro during the month of May and see how fun and easy it is to help others!
Serving our Weekend Musicians
We can’t all sing or play on the Worship Team, but we can all serve those who bless us with awesome worship each weekend! Our weekend worship team arrives at 2:30pm on Saturday and stays until about 8pm. We’d love to be able to serve them a Saturday dinner each week at 5:15pm and are looking for families, groups, or others who’d love to provide this much needed meal. Ever have to keep your kids occupied while waiting? Every week families with small children line up to visit our Food Pantry and Clothing Closet and we love having kid’s books available to bless them. Gently used children’s books are being collected at the Info Station at each campus–please donate today!
