We love kids!
We believe that they are not the church of tomorrow but the church of today! We attempt to create learning environments where kids can have a blast, worship hardily, and become immersed by the living Word of God! We play, we worship, and we learn about being a follower of Jesus. At our Hillsboro campus, we offer nursery, preschool, and elementary ministries during each service (birth through 5th grade) and at our Beaverton and Forest Grove campuses, we are crafting a ministry that we believe rocks! Each leader is skilled and “safe kid” approved—ready to minister to young people! We believe in what we do! So, stop in and check out what we do during any of our services. We are seeing lives changed!
Serving our children
Do you love holding babies? Coloring and doing crafts? Watching little kiddos exploring and playing? There are many great ways to love on God’s little children in the Nursery and Preschool Ministry! Teachers, helpers, greeters are all needed to serve the families at Sonrise. Serve just 1-2 times per month to make a big difference in the lives of kids!
