About The Bible
1. The Bible Is Credible
"Most honorable Theophilus: Many people have written accounts about the events that took place among us. They used as their source material the reports circulating among us from the early disciples and other eyewitnesses of what God has done in fulfillment of his promises. Having carefully investigated all of these accounts from the beginning, I have decided to write a careful summary for you, to reassure you of the truth of all you were taught." Luke 1:1-4
2. The Bible Is Reliable
"For we were not making up clever stories when we told you about the power of our Lord Jesus Christ and his coming again. We have seen his majestic splendor with our own eyes. And he received honor and glory from God the Father when God's glorious, majestic voice called down from heaven, 'This is my beloved Son; I am fully pleased with him.' We ourselves heard the voice when we were there with him on the holy mountain. "Because of that, we have even greater confidence in the message proclaimed by the prophets. Pay close attention to what they wrote, for their words are like a light shining in a dark place-until the day Christ appears and his brilliant light shines in your hearts. Above all, you must understand that no prophecy in Scripture ever came from the prophets themselves or because they wanted to prophesy. It was the Holy Spirit who moved the prophets to speak from God." 2 Peter 1:16-21
3. The Bible Is Relevant
"But you must remain faithful to the things you have been taught. You know they are true, for you know you can trust those who taught you. You have been taught the holy Scriptures from childhood, and they have given you the wisdom to receive the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right. It is God's way of preparing us in every way, fully equipped for every good thing God wants us to do." 2 Timothy 3:14-17

About God
1. God Is Love
"...God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them." 1 John 4:16
2. God Is Holy-Absolutely Pure
"For he himself has said, 'You must be holy because I am holy.'" 1 Peter 1:16
3. God Is Just-A Perfect Judge
"There is no truer statement than this: God will not do wrong. The Almighty cannot twist justice." Job 34:12

About Us
1. We Were Created Good, But Became Sinful
“For all have sinned; all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” Romans 3:23
2. We Deserve Death-Both Physical & Spiritual
"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23
3. We Are Spiritually Helpless-Morally Bankrupt
"We are all infected and impure with sin. When we proudly display our righteous deeds, we find they are but filthy rags. Like autumn leaves, we wither and fall. And our sins, like the wind, sweep us away." Isaiah 64:6

About Christ
1. Christ Is God, Who Also Became Man
"In the beginning the Word already existed. He was with God, and he was God.So the Word became human and lived here on earth among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the only Son of the Father." John 1:1, 14
2. Christ Died As Our Substitute
"He personally carried away our sins in his own body on the cross so we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. You have been healed by his wounds!" 1 Peter 2:24
3. Christ Offers His Forgiveness As A Gift
"God saved you by his special favor when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it." Ephesians 2:8-9

1. You And I Must Respond Personally
"But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God." John 1:12
2. You Must Trust Christ As Your Savior And Lord
"But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong." 1 John 1:9 ".You must worship Christ as Lord of your life." 1 Peter 3:15
3. The Result Is A Spiritual Transformation By The Holy Spirit
"What this means is that those who become Christians become new persons. They are not the same anymore, for the old life is gone. A new life has begun!" 2 Corinthians 5:17
